The Rainbow Falls is an extremely beautiful natural cascade of water, although this is certainly not one of the easiest attractions to reach. Those wishing to visit the Rainbow Falls should head along the Goldsborough Bay Road, where you will first encounter the old Cocoa House of Hugh and Shirley McKenna. From here, the waterfall is a 20-minute walk along a winding trail, which can be rather muddy at times. This is a very quiet and enchanting spot, and the falls are around 100 metres / 328 feet high, with water falling down a rocky route and splashing into the Goldsborough River beneath, with the mist often creating rainbows - hence the name. If it is a particularly hot day on Tobago, then what better place to cool down that the inviting river itself. A restaurant is conveniently close by, should you feel a little peckish.
